Project: Finding Safe Landing Sites on Mercury

I have lived in New Jersey my whole life, continuing that pattern by coming to Stevens in the Fall of 2021. Currently, I am a sophomore computer science student. I've always had a fascination with space, absorbing all the information I can about the latest news from NASA, or buying as many space-related books as possible at my elementary school's book fair. To actually get to work on a project with real-world (or rather, out-of-this-world) applications is a huge honor. Outside of space and computer science, I love spending time with my pets, playing video games, and swimming.

Project: Finding Safe Landing Sites on Mercury

Hello, I’m from Toms River, New Jersey and entered Stevens in the fall of 2020. I’m about to enter my senior year as a Computer Science major with a minor in Cybersecurity. I've been interested in astronomy and planetary science for as long as I can remember, and I was lucky enough to visit the Kennedy Space Center recently. During previous summers, I worked on projects about modeling meteor impacts (2022) and analyzing the logistics of space missions (2021). In my free time, I like to read books, watch movies, and look at the stars through my telescope.

Mesh Generation for FSI Analysis of Shock Impingements in High-Speed Applications

Despite the fumes and smog in the air of my hometown of Bayonne, New Jersey, I've always had my eyes on the skies, and that is why in 2021 I came to Stevens seeking a degree in Mechanical Engineering, with a concentration in Aerospace. If I could achieve any goal, it would be to one day travel to a celestial body as an Astronaut. Outside of Stevens, you may find me strolling the streets of Hoboken or waitering at my hometown's local Italian Restaurant. On my own time, I enjoy playing Minecraft, the piano, or using my telescope to look at and photograph the night sky.
